The tasting room was beautiful: it sits up on a hill, and is surrounded by a large pond with ducks, and lots of vineyards. But the best thing about the tasting room was …..wait for it…..purse hooks! OMG it’s about time this trend catches on in wine tasting rooms! Of course I’m kidding, because by far the best things about the tasting room were Maty, our wine hostess, and the wine! Purse hooks were just a bonus!

Maty gave us the A+ tour- we went all around the winery, from the vineyards to the crush pads, to the gorgeous private tasting room. Then it was back to the wine!

TH Estates-

Another Paso suggestion made by winemaker, Justin Smith, was TH estates. Justin is actually good friends with the proprietor, Terry Hoage, and made the first two vintages of TH wines in 2002 and 2003. Terry is an ex-football player and his wife, Jennifer, studied miming in France.

In fact, Jennifer is introducing a new label called Decroux in homage to her instructor Etienne Decroux, the French father of Corporal Mime. How awesome is that?!
